Anouba Meerol presents an interview of Santa Khurai, a Meitei Nupi Maanbi from Manipur. She narrates the experiences of trans-community during the ongoing lockdown and the economic and social difficulties that the community is facing in Manipur. She talks about the struggle for a separate quarantine centre for transgender people and difficulties she faced. She also discusses in the interview her ongoing fund drive for purchasing Samsung Tablets for the economically deprived families run by single parents and widows so that their children can get access to online education during the lockdown.
